The Previous Bulletin Post
[ Up on the 4th Level, on the north wall of the large theater building (D), facing the fountain, there is a bulletin board. It seems like it's been splashed over with paint and graffitied on in some places, and overall it's a bit worn, but someone's been taking care of it. There may even be a pad of papers pinned nearby for people to use if they didn't obtain their own before hand. Let's see what new notices have been left! ]
- News and Information (Anything that doesn't really need a response and aims to inform people about events that happened in Thusia)
- Projects (Any general projects that requires people to work together for the good of HQ)
- Shops and Services (Ads for businesses, offering a service, or Help Wanted requests, etc)
- Miscellaneous (Ads for personal meetings or roommates, giving your barthas up for adoption, or other random personal requests)
- Shenanigans (Graffiti, jokes, and anything else that's just messing around with the bulletin board)
HOW TO POST TO THE BULLETIN BOARD
FIRST, TO BE CLEAR, using this bulletin board post is optional! You are free to use the bulletin board in-game however you like without having to touch this post. However, we consider this a helpful resource for other players to refer to in order to see what news is being spread ICly between times when bulletin posts come up, or if a player wants their chara to follow up on something but would have missed the initial news ICly, etc etc. But since we don't want to discourage in-game use of bulletin posts, we have some rules that people should follow when leaving a comment here.
1) Put up your bulletin posting in-game first! It could be a bulletin board post you made, a thread in a bulletin post, or just a thread in some mingle or wherever, as long as it's in
thusia so people have the chance to reply ICly in real time.
2) Put a duplicate (or a 10-100 word summary) of your posting in this post so those who missed the original can see what's still on the board later! The copy in this post must have a link pointing back to the original posting. You may feel free to get fancy with HTML in the posting itself if you wish, just try to keep file sizes down.
3) Format for the heading is date, time | title or heading of your choice.
4) Remove your posting if your chara would have taken it down after a certain time. If your chara would remove someone else's posting ICly, please check with the OP OOCly before you do so. (It's possible to remove other's postings by logging in to
anonymia)
5) The only situation where you don't have to link back to an in-game posting is when your character would respond to a posting they see later with another posting. This means stuff like exchanging notes with someone through the bulletin board or graffiti-ing on a rival's posting. If they meet face-to-face, please take the thread in-game. We prefer to keep this sort of thing to the Shenanigans thread, but we realize some other postings may prompt a response.
